Throughout his career in industry, Azim’s key motivator was to improve things. During his 5 years in commercial and management accounting, Azim worked on change programmes as a finance SME – solutions included Adaytum, Cognos planning, Hyperion Enterprise and business objects toolkits. With an initial move into consultancy with Paragon Consulting, Azim then went on to found ais Consulting in 2001. With over 12 years on SAP BPC projects Azim has worked across a wide range of verticals on finance change projects… Experian, Shell, Moët Hennessy, United Utilities, SEGRO, British American Tobacco to name a few. Now Azim helps the ais team to deliver value to our customers delivering best practice process change through SAP technology.
Richard is an experienced principal consultant focusing on pre-sales, consultancy and training for SAP Business Planning and Consolidation. He works closely with clients and prospects to promote the use of SAP BPC. He also works alongside SAP UK on pre-sales and training assignments in the UK and overseas for clients and partners. He is a qualified accountant with group reporting experience gained in multinational oil companies. His in-depth financial knowledge means that he is able to understand clients and their business needs as well as delivering training to the finance function from a perspective that has most relevance to them. He has delivered SAP BPC services to multiple organisations including: application design and build; administrator and reporting training; customised end user training; building proof of concept applications and product demonstrations. He has over 15 years experience in implementing financial solutions having previously worked for Hyperion Solutions, running design workshops, training and implementing Hyperion Enterprise to meet specific requirements.
Wayne is an experienced, client facing Senior Consultant with an established track record in successfully delivering end to end SAP BPC solutions. He is educated to higher degree level and has more than fifteen years relevant industry experience. Throughout his career he has achieved considerable success as a consultant implementing Performance Management solutions utilising leading technologies including Hyperion & Cognos products. Keys to his success have been:

- Empathising with business needs to gather requirements and provide solutions that are easy to use and deliver real business benefits .
As an SAP BPC certified consultant he has over six years project experience in Planning, Consolidation & Reporting with a number of major clients inc: Department for Transport, Diageo, Experian, LVMH & SEGRO. He also has considerable experience as an SAP BPC Trainer.
Alan joined AIS in 2007 and has worked as a solution architect designing BPC systems for both planning and consolidation. He also provides Quality Assurance support to AIS’s main projects.
As a finance professional, Alan worked for 20 years in the telecommunications industry, mainly for BT and Cable & Wireless . As well as designing, implementing and managing C&W’s global financial consolidation and management reporting solutions, he was the programme director for the company’s global rollout of a single instance of SAP ERP. He has, therefore, an in depth knowledge of both the SAP BPC product and the SAP ERP/ECC platform as well as core financial processes.
Given his background, Alan has a deep understanding of the challenges facing finance teams and has a track record of identifying value through process improvements and best-practice systems design. He has worked on a wide range of AIS projects including Department for Transport, Charter International, (now part of Colfax), Colt Group and United Utilities.
Alan read Economics at the University of York and holds an MBA.
Mark held previous financial controller positions in large international organisations before joining ais. Throughout his career he has been involved with SAP systems and has lead several change programmes including ERP implementations, a worldwide group reporting solution and a Record to Report work stream in a large company wide Finance Transformation programme.
Mark specialises in bridging the gap between finance, operations and IT through engaging with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements. He is an all-round principal consultant providing finance, technical depth in SAP systems and rigid project governance and control. On the technology front, Mark has delivered solutions with SAP ECC, BW, BPC and Business Objects tools. His past roles in senior finance positions allow him to empathise well with clients and this combined with all round strength in ensuring quality delivery make Mark a key player in any client engagement. Mark holds a degree in history and is MBA qualified.
